burlington county. chad is at the crime scene and david is at the staging area. >> reporter: state police here is a they have a lot of unanswered questions as this voestgation continues, it all began with a frantic phone call from a house on holly park drive shortly after 9:00 this morning. >> when they got there, they found a really horrific scene. >> inside one of the bedrooms they found four shooting victims, two of them, a boy and girl were already dead. the other two, a boy and adult woman had signs of life and were flown to cooper trauma senner camden and they are in extremely critical condition. they believe the woman is the mother of the three children in the house. police have not explained why

nobody heard the shots but they have the murder weapon. >> we believe that all victim were shot with the same weapon, which is a handgun which has been recovered from the scene. the mother of the children had been shot in the head, police did not describe the injuries to the children and investigators stopped short of calling it a murder-suicide attempt. there are other adults in the house at the time and they have been questioned but they are not looking for a suspect. now it's a question of why. police continue to interview witnesses and the crime scene, it was a shock to veteran investigators. >> our troopers are taught to expect the unexpected. but a crime scene like this is impossible to prepare for. and as a result we have initial troopers involved back at the station and they are meeting with critical stress management counselors. >> the children ranged in age from middle school to early high

school, they are not releasing the names of the victims until all family members have been notified and so far they have not been able to find the father of those children that does not live at that house. >> thank you david. lets switch now to chad pradelli at 39 holly park drive, the scene of the shooting, what is the neighborhood reaction been to this? >> jim, as you can imagine neighbors are stunned and sad anded by what happened. the fact that children are involved make that that much harder. they continue to process this house looking for clues to what happened and why. >> it's a tragedy you know, nothing really you can say about it, it's children that didn't deserve it. >> very sad, i couldn't believe it when i first heard. >> a solemnness hangs over this new jersey neighborhood, the known, a murder-suicide and the

unknown, many neighbors did not know the family. they say they moved into the holly park house a few months ago and shared it with another family. >> they kept to themselves and didn't know much about them at all. >> heard them outside playing, it seemed like a happy family. >> the children range from middle school to high school age. >> a tabernacle school representative says they are going through a difficult time but said police contact police. >> i contacted my son at school and is he fine. >> it's peaceful here you can hear a dime drop at night. >> and neighbors tell me a vigil is planned for the victims and it will take place at town hall at 7:00 p.m. tonight. i'm live in tabernacle, chad pradelli, channel 6 "action news.." >> our coverage of this tragic

market devastated by fire on tuesday was back open for business today. ten of the columbus market's 65 inside shops were destroyed in the four alarm blaze. the market's outdoor vending area as well as produce markets reopened today and the market was closed on the day of the fire, investigators still don't know what sparked the blaze. >> from chester county comes word that a trust fund is established to help 6-year-old ryan mcmillan, he lost his brother scotty earlier this month, after the little boy died at the hands of the mother and the mother's boyfriend. >> we have not just heard from chester county and around the united states but from people around the world. >> the scotty mcmillian murder case still has chester county seething, the boy dies in the wake of brutal torture and

fire and police squads in the city of chester got a
